Other than using the fan base filter, you can also use bookmarks. They make it so easy to keep track of your favorite threads.
You can also set it to automatically bookmark any thread you reply to, but that can get messy if you're a heavy poster.
And yes bow to the flawless Fire color scheme.

Registration was open for a few minutes a few days ago.
It won't be open permanently until the server issues are fixed, and we can't set a date for that.
I think I saw a member who's a member since 01/01/2013.
