I like Joanne and she has gone for a very smart, "timeless" approach with her music. Surprised Shania Twain hasn't come for "A-YO" though. Anyway I should know speak of this heathen isn't allowed in here.
It's kinda weird to stan both Gaga and Madonna, like I do kinda believe that Gaga didn't mean to shade Madonna with that "I write and play my own instruments" mess. She was just kinda angrily articulated that she does everything in her own time and as a result these endless comparisons are dumb.
I think she, and everyone else, need to just accept that thanks to Madonna's endless career, and the fact that they even look kinda similar and have similar ethnic backgrounds, that there's always gonna be similarities and comparisons drawn. It sucks for Gaga, but oh well. Like basically wearing anything on your bra is "copying Madonna" or certain hairstyles or whatever, it's silly.
