If we're comparing 'Born This Way' U.S single sales to 'The Fame Monster' there isn't THAT MUCH of difference. I don't get why we had so much meltdowns about singles success this era.

Well, 'The Fame' is her most succeful album in the U.S and it will be extremely hard to top it .
But 'The Fame Monster' is way bigger WW .. I mean , look at the WW sales ( not including U.S) TFM is at almost 16 M singles sold.. Since for 'The Fame' ..If we compar its 3 biggest hits.. Would be at around 13 M singles sold .. And TFM pushed TF albums sales .

TFM =3 singles 10.3 million of singles sold WW (juuuust 3, just 3 ****ing singles)

BTW = 5 singles 9.3 millions of singles

Clearly the world is only here for "dance fun Gaga a la Telephone" so i hope she realized ehat the world needs and expects from her. You and I was a decent hit in the US cause she performed it EVERYWHERE not because it was a smash song, she performed it at the Vmas, the view, jimmy kimmel, SYTYCD, showed a vid of it at american idol, and it was kinda relatable, dont get me wrong it's one of my fav songs but it's just not a hit.

But really, how can we say it underperformed? Is it really fair to say that because we're comparing it to her last era? Why not compare it to the overall average successes of WW albums. BTW outsold TD and LOUD and Femme Fatale.
