I think you're missing the point. How big of a role he played is irrelevant. The fact is those voters are not informed and that is not something to praise. There's also a reason why youth is so heavily behind Bernie, we're sick of the status quo that Hillary and the democratic/republican establishment represent. It has done nothing for us for many years. No one is pretending that things are going to solved 5 or 9 years from now but why do we keep willfully choosing candidates that have repeatedly failed to protect our country's future.
With that said, in comparison to Hillary, Bernie is practically a civil rights icon.

You can downplay his interest and involvement as much as you want but even without his involvement HALF A CENTURY AGO (I don't get it, does the fact that it happen so long ago erase anything?), his record is still far better than Hillary's when it comes to civil rights and liberties.

They better not. Black folk have been the single reason why her ass is even winning. Every chance she gets to finally put him away, her campaign (or sometimes Clinton herself) likes to shoot itself . Literally if she ran the way she did in 2008 (she was a mess then too but better) Sanders would've been ended a month ago
He was, BUT he really needs to just ignore them because giving out soundbites like that hurts Hillary. The Bernie people want anything they can latch on right now to take attention off his recent fumbles, and Bill is giving it to them.
