Rico is a great writer but his creativity is running low, a lot of his songs are starting to sound the same, I don't think Usher is going to work with him.
Ok, I have to write this - I'm so ready for a new era. But I want this album to be something more than the previous ones . I'd like to take it after 10 years and say to myself - This Cd is a f*cking classic
I just need Usher to take that top spot in the music industry again. I want him to get that sales and all commercial success.I can't stand people saying he is over. Usher please prove them all wrong.
There is only one direction.

I have a feeling his next album is going to be another classic The people saying he's done are ignorant, he's still relevant and people still talk about him. He released 3 back to back classic albums, that alone is an amazing accomplishment.

Exactly..all his songs are sounding alike now, but I loved when he wrote Throwback. He should write another throwback and let Just Blaze do the production. Rico should not be allowed to produce any beat on this album

I hope You are right I'd like this album to be coherent. This is exactly what I loved about Confessions. While listening to it You had impressions like every song is somehow connected with the rest of album. You could listen to it without skipping any record

Yup he should start getting serious like he was in the 8701 and Confession era. He was hungry that time and would stay in the studio for long hours perfecting his craft. He should also try to create more dance steps next album
To be honest Rico Love & Usher are a great combo. I don't know why y'all are mad at him or will not have him anymore he wrote/produced just one of the best Songs for Usher.
1) Looking 4 Myself
2) Dive
3) Lessons For The Lover
4) Sins of My Father
They are all great.
Or the Songs on RvR they are f*cking amazing... if he would release these songs below this year they would smash so hard!
1) Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)
2) There Goes My Baby
3) Making Love (Into the Night)

His songs are good, but not great. It sounds like any other r&b song and Usher is not any other kind of artist. Usher's songs are not supposed to sound like something Trey songz, Tank or Tyrese would sing. He is a great writer, but not a terrific producer. The songs he produced on LFM were good, but like I said, not great.
Rico is an amateur compared to the likes of Jermaine dupri, Bryan cox, Babyface Jimmy Jam etc
In my opinion he's good and he's getting better and better and these songs which you mean with trey, tank etc. sounds maybe the same for you because he's one of the most successful producer/songwriter since 2010/11 who writes/produce for everyone of them...
And it makes no sense to compare producers who are doing it over years to a producer/songwriter who is doing it since 3-5 years. It's like you would compare Timbaland, Dr. Dre etc. to Noah "40" Shebib, Mike Will Made It or all these new producers
I like Rico, but some of his production is starting to sound the same, I think he's a better writer than a producer. I really liked Throwback and There Goes My Baby, but he isn't as creative with his production anymore, and I don't want Usher to have a bunch of albums that show no progress in his artistry.

he should use other singers as an experiment for his production not Usher. He should keep writing tho. I am expecting the best from Usher when he releases his next album .

EXACTLY! That's what I am saying. his writing his terrific but his production is generic. Throwback was a classic especially with the production from Just blaze.
