It seems like an unorthodox suggestion, but the book Lover showed you is OUTSTANDING. It's obviously not a linear biography but it's more than 500 pages long, in full color, beautifully detailed, and covers pretty much everything there is on Madonna, the entries are both personal and professional. And it came out later on in 2015 so it even covers a lot of the Rebel Heart era.
I've read (I think) three biographies on Madonna (the Lucy O'Brien, the Andrew Morton one, and the J. Randy Taraborrelli). The Andrew Morton was the weakest, the O'Brien came out in early 2008 and benefits from being the most recent of the three, and the Taraborrelli is the longest one, but it came out around 2001.
Honestly, the Encyclopedia Madonnica is SUCH a great read though.
