Swag Blonde: .: Classic. Timeless. Career song. Something for old people & young people to love.
J: the perfect opener... it sets the mood for the album.. the vocals.. the production.. classic ..as I said before it has officially replaced Dangerously In Love vol 2 as a beyoncé theme song
"I Care"
Swag Blonde: Thiisssssss is taking me places, sis! OMG. She is beasty for this. Emotion. Conviction. The power! 808's & Heartbreaks meets Adele or something innovative. This break down with her singing along with the guitar and mimicking it is some of the best singing she's ever done on record. These head notes would make Mariah Carey weep.
J: moody..dark.. Powerful vocal and real catchy production.. DEF my favorite song on the album when she says "i swear you look when im in pain' lordT and wow @ when her voice intertwines with the electric guitar ..bey is showing off and it feels good to hear. dead @ the owwww at the end.. she was feeling it.
Swag Blonde: Yesss! aldfjasdf
"I Miss You"
Swag Blonde: Screeeeeeams The Weeknd and Drake! A catchy mid with the eerie yet hauntingly dreamy production of some of the songs on Drake's So Far Gone mixtape. Amazing vocals. I think this would be a hit on R&B. Reminds me so much of "Find Your Love". She can sell anything.
J: haunting production.. haunting vocals.. and the song ain't dark at all .. but the production and vocals give it an edge ..puts you in a trance
"Party"
J: Official summer song ..the 90s vocals.. that 80s baseline..already see myself with the topdown with the radio on hair blowing in the wind.. driving up to a beach / block party
Swag Blonde: I'm perched with Coko, the rest of SWV, and Xscape on the project front steps leaning in my cross color jacket and boom box, sis. What is thiiiiissss??? I'll be back. I need to borrow Janet's time machine and transport to the 90's.
J: will total sneak in through the back door in their colorful jackets? kiii
Swag Blonde: DEATH
"Rather Die Young"
Swag Blonde: LIGHT THE ****IN DRO!!! Did she just say "smoke too much" !?!? LMAO. Reminds me of that scene in Friday when Craig & Smokey are getting BLAZED and "Mary Jane" or something is playing. She is BREATHING the 70's here. This also reminds me of Dead Presidents the movie. Her voice is beautiful.
J: Is so sexy to me... makes me feel like im on the set of a movie.. with the PERFECT love story .. lol.. the song just makes me want to drive into the sunset ..this is the type of **** alicia wish she could do.. but she just doesn't have it in her.
Swag Blonde: LOOOOOL. Not too much on Alicia's casio.
J: deathhh she gonna have to get up from behind the keys and attempt to take me there.. cuz she never made my wig float to the heavens above. bey is still crazy in love ..maybe even more in love than ever.. its cute
"Start Over"
Swag Blonde: We're gonna have to disagree here. Not a single to me. But gorgeous melody and vocal performance. The lyrics touch me. Very relatable. "Let's start over. Stop fighting about the same old thing. Maybe we can start over?" .... Kind of like a sister song to "Forever To Bleed" but way better.
J: this beat is so fccn cute with the LIGHT caribbean feel.. it just makes you flaot from the start.. IMo this is bey's best mid tempo to date.. and the lyrics are so straight forward.. this is 1 that allot of people can relate to. everyone knows whats its like to be in a relationship where you really love the person.. yet all you do is fight ,,and you just wish you could just get a clean slate and start over. and when she slows it down during the bridge AHHHHHHH ..its like the point where you're done fighting and screaming..and you're like ..so we gonna try to work this out or not... yass bey
Swag Blonde: Yesss. Was that Casper??? The vocals are so powerful. Those belts pretty much prove she is THE VOICE. Shade.
J: yea the control over her voice is insane.. she slowed it down ..yet it was still powerful.. maybe even the most powerful part of the song
Swag Blonde: Beyonce once again proving you don't have to scream at listeners to convey the emotion in a song.
J: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! screaming = not soul..and the g3rls will learn.. when its authentic and from the heart you don't have to forge soul through volume. asdfghjkl
Swag Blonde: lk;ajgaljdgf
"Love On Top"
J: is this motown live? soul train?? **gets into a lite shimmy**
Swag Blonde: Biiiiiiitch. Michael Jackson crawled out of the casket, slipped into his 8 year old wig and recorded this! I will NOT believe this is Beyonce. Latoya doing ghost vocals? What is thiiiisss??? OMG @ this b-section. She is cryyyiiiiiiiing here! Where's my afro & bell bottoms?
J: shiny red shoes.. pant suits .. yasss ..she will not sing us back into the 60s
Swag Blonde: "Boy your lips taste like a night of champagne as I kiss you again and again and again".....Bey a freak huh?
J: she's putting her Love on TOP asdfghjkl
Swag Blonde: LOOOOOOOOOL. She put that coochie on top at the end of this love story. It's so great that you can sway and dance to this. WOAH @ these key changes at the end. Just when you think she can't take it any higher. She does the hook like 5 times!!!?? Each time a higher key and FLAWLESS.
J: and she's saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanging
Swag Blonde: !!!!!!!!! Shoulda been called "Vocals on TOP!" LOL
J: Lmao.. right.. cuz she gave it her ALLLLL
"Countdown"
J: this is a MONSTER ..shame it wasn't the first single.. but it better be the 3rd
Swag Blonde: Hands down should have been the 1st single. This is the hooky, goofy, catchy Bee people love. Undeniable smash.
J: this is like every one of her previous no1 smashes mixed up into 1
Swag Blonde: Yesss. Agreed!
J: that CIL swag... the baby boy feel .. the check on it vocals.
Swag Blonde: I hear "Crazy", "Baby Boy", "Check On It"all in this.
Swag Blonde: OMG we said the same thing. LOOOOL
J: lolll.. cuz its so obvious ..this is bey in her best form
Swag Blonde: The use of this Boyz II Men is so innovative. Best use of a sample in the last few years.
J: right.. its not as obvious as people would've expected. all im missing here [and I have no reason to complain] is a jay-z verse.. it would be the cherry on top. they better arrange that for the single version
Swag Blonde: Yeah. "All that gossip? 10 years stop it!" She checked MEdiaTakeOut and anyone questioning her relationship.
"I Was Here"
J: I'm not even gonna front I was in tears from the moment bey started singing. I mean looking at the title ..it should've been obvious.. but I didn't expect it to be about that. its lyrically great and ryan came through on the production.. bey sings it TOO convincing me ..it creeps me out a ,little.
Swag Blonde: I don't listening to this. "The hearts that I've touched will be the proof that I leave that I made a difference. And this world will see I was here."
J: we already know what this song will one day stand for.. and I don't even want to think about it. def the most emotional song I have ever heard from her
Swag Blonde: I'm kind of speechless when it comes to this. She has impacted and touched my life tremendously. Imagining her gone just makes you appreciate everything she HAS done and that she isn't a machine we can all just poke & prod in every direction we want. She is more than just an artist. I love her. Another career best.
J: right.. I think every bey fan will be touched by this song when they hear it..I thought it was just me being overwhelmed on first play ..but the 5th time playing it I still feel just as moved.
Swag Blonde: It's chilling. I just had to listen again kind of unattached. Still speechless.
J K: 4 is DEF her best album...whatever it does commercially ..Im extremely proud of what she delivered.
Swag Blonde: Like I said on the board. At 29, she has finally hit her artistic & musical stride. It will be a shame if fans don't appreciate the growth. And even if they don't, this album will definitely attract new fans that never knew what we've known about her all along. She is the best. Period.
J: yea this album is gonna open new doors for her.. maybe shut a few ..but if they are not here for the artistic grow ..that's their loss

I'm on an emotional roller coaster right now guys. It's a whole three weeks before the album's official release, and all I can do is pray that she still succeeds.
