Last Friday Night is a Hi-NRG song which is an 80's mixture of Disco and Electro-Dance. On top of that, there's the obvious saxophone solo which should tell you the 80's were obviously a big influence.
Teenage Dream is a mixture of 2010's electro pop and 80's rock n' roll guitar strings.
Hummingbird Heartbeat... I don't even need to explain this one.
I mean the final chorus kinda makes it obvious...
But we've only had one genuine 80's influenced pop girl album in the past two years and that's Carly's. 1989 isn't 80's at all.
