So, what are the 3rd single contenders now? I'm assuming it's Misery, Truth, Rare and maybe Asking 4 It? I don't like any of them. I think she should go for either You're My Favorite or Where Would I Be? Gorgeous songs that show maturity and aren't too similar to the 2 singles we've already had. She obviously won't get a hit if UTLY and MMLY didn't do it, but I'd like to have a single release and a video for a song that's really worth it and will stand out in her discog

Yeah, I'm afraid this is what they'll go with. Misery sounds like HAC radio filler to me. Take a risk and go with one of the stronger tracks. It's not like radio is backing her up well enough to give her a hit, although those album sales are on point

But that's subjective I guess. Maybe the fans love Misery

Asking 4 It will be the next single. It's the only track that features someone in the album and the style is pretty popular right now, kind of urban trap(?).

I don't think any song on the album has potential if they don't try this one. If this one does well, others singles will have far better chance of getting any airplay and decent reception. Rare as a single would tank so hard, this song is too personal and boring to be a single.

Sis, what would be the point of this? Fetty Wap's buzz is long gone and neither urban nor rhythmic will support a Gwen Stefani song.

I'm pretty sure it'll be Misery. Praying for a miracle though, cause You're My Favorite and Where Would I Be sound like hits to me, with potential outside of the US too. But I don't see a lot of love for either of them so maybe I'm wrong

I think Misery is catchy enough to achieve MMLY/UTLY-sized success. Truth can end the era as the quality song.

These were pre-album singles and they took a lot of promo to gain the little success that they did though. That's my problem with releasing a song that's pretty much in the same vein as these 2. She already tried that formula and it worked to a certain extent, but I'd prefer an all or nothing approach rather than a third minor hit in a row.

Anyway, maybe it's too early to think about this. I'm just happy there's a new Gwen album out there
