It was freaking awesome!!!! I thought maybe her voice would be a little tired with the whole Super Bowl and flying to rehearsals and then the concert stuff for the past few days... but NOPE girl was soooo good!!! The intro gave me chills with the music and headlines. She was chatty like always. She talked about how nervous she was singing the anthem. We Texans were totally giving her a lot of love
I laughed at the fact Einstein was the fan request. That's my least favorite song on the album, lol. But she still sounded amazing on it. I got a little teary with "Breakaway" it's just crazy how good this era has been and just reminded me how far she's come
The new songs sound freakin' amazing live!!
"Heavy In Your Arms" is hypnotic.... I'd love for her to have a song like that on her next album. She didn't go to the audience this time around
but I was up on top so it didn't matter to me, lol. In true Texan form, I had a great time!
