Just posted this update/memory in the "Die Young Appreciation" thread, but when Ke$ha's "Die Young" came out a guy I liked my crush had just ditched me for my friend and he was starting to show up to places together with him and the line "oh what a shame that you came here with someone" CRUCIFIED me emotionally. I remember during a party going to cry in the bathroom and then coming out and having to pretend I was fine in front of them.
He lived in the apartment below me too, literally underneath me, and I could hear them having sex one night. It was my absolute death.
