I wonder if iTunes US could ever get this dead... I feel like Apple would have to discontinue it before sales honestly and truly died. I guess we are at 2006 level sales. In a year we'll probably be at the lowest digital sales ever

I hope this happens to be totally honest

this transition from sales to streaming is taking far too long and is becoming confusing and a bit tedious. the only formats that really shouldn't die are physicals, because these help present an album's aesthetic via packaging.

I really hope, that by mid 2017, the #1 song starts to sell under 70k.
