I would like to make a speech. Since I am the creator of this thread.
Some of you doubt my stanning, and have been rude. You think Ive been making threads to let haters trash RiRi.
In fact that isnt true. I am a hugely devoted stan, I just dont come on ATRL every moment, and have time to constantly show it. Ive been on ATRL for 2+ years, while some of you have just joined.
The Rated R thread was made because of my excitement for its official sales cross of 1,000,000 units in the US.
I was afraid it never would happen.
Second, Ive loved RiRi since Pon de Replay, and I know some of you gurls say you have, but your liars.
I have the receipt of my Music of the Sun purchase August 2005, do you?
Im not going to sit here and pretend like Rihanna is a big album seller in the US. She has just as many hits as Beyonce and Britney, shes more vocally talented than Britney, and on the same beauty level as Beyonce, so she should be able to move lots of albums.
It scares me that she isnt promoting, and some of you think Loud has excellent sales so far, when yet, its only been selling during the Holiday season, so you cant judge. It should be moving 100k+ each week since it was released since its her 5th album, she had 2 huge hits, and its the holiday season.
I opened the thread for Rihanna stans to respond, and see the responses as to why you guys think she cant move units in the US like she should.
And some of you need to stop acusing me of being an annoying Rihanna stan when half of you spam threads with annoying quotes as "WHO SAID RIRI CANT SELL ALBUMS?" "RIRI IS ******** ON EVERYONE" "DA QUEEN IZ DA BITCH". etc...
And stop pretending like OG is doing great. Its doing good. It should be top 10 still and way past 2x Platinum. The only reason its been Top 10 on Billboard for so long is because of its massive airplay, if RiRi didnt have huge airplay in the US, her songs would not chart that high. (Another question as to why she cant move that many albums with such high airplay).
Im done. I love Rihanna to death, more than any other artists, but stop the delusion, and stop hating on me.
Besides making that one thread, Ive been nothing but a good, accurate, Rihanna stan.
