this is exactly why Aria is the most annoying character and still my first suspect to be uber A. This bitch was whining about her relationship for seasons since forever and even got away with cheating on Ezra twice. When did A ever NOT use any kind of bad secret to use it against them?

I'm not a professional writer, but I think it should be obvious that the character pushed to be the main one should not be annoying and have some things to relate to. I don't get how someone who found out that her boyfriend was a creepy stalker still went back to dating him is relatable.

Aria is the worst female character on Pretty Little Liars and it's not going to change unless they make her useful, and eating pie with Ezra instead of solving mysteries (at least she started doing something with Radley) just renders her completely useless and vapid. After reading the original scripts for the pilot and Episode Two, it's obvious that Pretty Little Liars was never meant to be a teen show. And it's a shame, because it would've slayed as a show with aimed towards a more mature audience.

It's just a more mature approach, kind of like in the books. The first scene opens up to Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake and instead of the girls drinking and passing out, Ali hypnotizes them just like the books. The twin angle would have dishwashed all the other mystery/thriller shows

Dock. Girls dance and giggle. A SHARP CRACK OF LIGHTENING
RIPS through the barn. The lights flicker then go dark. The
GIRLS, frightened, cry out as the music abruptly dies.

The girls fumble in the dark. Someone lights a candle.

She’s gone.

the fan episode is literally hours away and it's been almost two weeks since this was active
