Why do you think that? "i" is doing fine commercially and it garnered him a ton of critical acclaim and a coupe of Grammys. As for his album, we have to wait and see how it's perceived. I definitely don't think he's a fad as you say. He may not repeat the commercial and critical success of
good kid, m.A.A.D City but I think he's gonna do well.

@Teezy, while I do agree that Cole is the underdog of the trio, I have to disagree with your reasoning as to why he won't have longevity. Even though he has never experienced a peak as big as Kendrick's or Drake's, he can still remain the constant force who does well enough and remains relevant a la P!nk. My comparison might be a bit faulty since P!nk is a pop gurl but you get where I'm going with this.
It's true that Cole doesn't have
that album or
that record to ever put him in a position to be thought of as the "next" Jay Z or to be thought of as one of the greats, but I think
2014 Forest Hills Drive is a great direction to head towards to achieve that. Don't count him out, he's definitely one of the best rappers out now.
@Click Clack & @borntodiethis way, neither Kendrick nor Cole are overrated. I think Kendrick gets all his due respect but Cole doesn't get the respect he deserves. Wale is annoying tho.
Do you guys think there will be another batch of female rappers out and doing their thing simultaneously? And no, I don't mean a song that does well here or there, I mean straight up successful/moderately successful albums and singles? It's about damn time.
