Not sure. I think the Applause cover is really artistic and is a cool image. It's not conventionally attractive , but it's a fascinating image.

The fact that she's in a birthing position on the ARTPOP cover bothers me less than it did a week & a half ago but I'm still not a big fan.

I prefer the Applause cover, but that also would've been a terrible album cover. Applause is a good image, but not for selling units to the masses. Many people wouldn't get it. The ARTPOP cover is more sellable.

I've never been a fan of her fascination with showing giving birth like in BTW & now the ARTPOP cover.

I just realized that Venus is kind of like Dance in The Dark.

You have relateable, easy-to-understand verses and a chorus with a pretty gay/random-worded bridge.
But the Venus bridge is different in the sense that it has some humor in it. "Don't you know that my ass is famous" as opposed to the bridge all about dead icons in Dance in The Dark.

With Madeon and DJWS helping with the writing and maybe even the production, this could be so great.



This album is going to be so diverse.

yeah idk how it works. There was that random glitch when all of Katy's songs went to 1-3 and many assumed it was 'cause of her pre-orders but idk.

Nope, everyone would have to cancel the pre-order, buy the song and then complete the album upon release
