She's telling a story, basic. Her album is good. It's a concept. Better than Lana's.
She's 150x more transparent than Lana. I don't get the comparison either way, but with Lana it's like she made up this character in her head and portrays her (convincingly). Halsey is a clear fraud who genuinely tries to pull off her facade as a real thing, and shouldn't appeal to anyone over the age of 15/who doesn't also think 5SOS is a punk band.
