How can people say that Bernie is the "candidate of the people" when he mainly appeals to whites? Hillary supporters are from every race and she flourishes in areas that with large diverse populations.

I have yet to speak with anyone who strongly supports Hillary in NYC.. At the most senseless FB posts but the overall support in NYC seems to be towards Bernie.

But what I don't agree with is penalizing someone for breaking no law. Unless I'm misunderstanding, the gun manufacturer didn't break any law, so why should he be held accountable for what the shooter did? That's what I can't understand.

Do you mind mentioning the parts of his record that have undermined racial justice? This is the first time I've ever heard anyone say this.

He never frames POC within his policies until asked on them. And no it isn't his fault that his supporters do that, but it is his fault not making sure his platform is being received as inclusive as possible or rectifying it when its not. Which is a major reason why his (mostly white) supporters react that way.

And I never said his record undermined racial justice, I said his record is weak on it.

Alaska liked Palin and she was seen as an up and coming less known voice for the party. Christie is on the decline and mocked by the party. A little different, yet same in the sense that they're both poor choices (in hindsight for McCain at least).

I feel like a Sanders presidency would essentially be the end of the world.... No foreign policy experience, wouldn't communicate effectively with other countries, would only be focused on "breaking up the banks" (even though as seen in the interview he doesn't really know how)... Lots more where that came from. National security is one of my greatest concerns and his lack of experience terrifies me..
