Random thought, but I badly want Ours to win the Grammy award for Best Country Song next year. And yes, I want it to win more than Safe & Sound. The song deserves it. They can submit Safe & Sound to the main categories and leave Ours to the country one. Please oh please.

Safe and Sound deserves it more but I agree that I want Ours to win more than Safe and Sound but it has more to do with upsetting a certain poster here and to answer your question I do believe that Ours is eligible but I doubt it gets submitted. I think the lead single would be submitted instead.

No as long as the song wasn't released as a single before the eligiblity period than it is eligible. However if Speak Now the album would have won than it would have counted as if all the songs won a grammy which would eliminate the eligibility of all songs from the standard version but I'm not sure if even if she won Country AOTY that Ours would be ineligible because its part of the deluxe version and idk if the deluxe version songs would be ineligible or not. Its a very confusing case to say the least

Lol. Well More than upsetting one poster here, I think Ours deserves it. It's one of those ballads full of emotions that doesn't just concern a heartbreak. Roughstock even said it was the best single choice of Taylor since White Horse. I still believe that it is eligible, but it is up to them if they'll submit it or not. Just hoping for the best to that little song called Ours.

Oh yeah I think it deserves a nod. Not sure about the win but if it did I wouldn't be upset about it one bit.

I think the eligibility period of songs and albums at grammy is from the start of Oct 2011 upto the end of sept 2012. So it depends if STIUTK falls over there.

And, I don't expect plenty of wins for S&S. Probably on country categories, but not on the major ones. Competition seems tough. I would be satisfied with a nom on the major field.
