Please, ain't gonna happen.

All Gaga has to do is sell 20k+ each week until December and it'll go 2x platinum. It will go 2x platinum eventually, especially after she starts touring. There is absolutely no promo rn and it's pulling in more than people who are currently touring.

What makes you think it's going to stabilize in the 20k range? Much less stay there until DECEMBER? Her fans have been using the word "stabilize" for weeks now but the only word this album uses is "plummet."

Sure, the drops will be less severe once she promotes again in the US. But it's almost like beating a dead horse. The general public has spoken and they are not interested in this album. They don't want some bitch who owes everything to a drastic and gimmicky change of sound/image to patronize them and tell them it's OK to embrace being born this way.

She needs to pull a Rihanna/Rated R and save face by quickly moving on to a new era. She needs to rearrange her priorities, go back to the drawing board, look back at why she's here in the first place, and let the experts take over what she proved she herself cannot handle.

I think we'd all be thrilled if she were doing better. But, I know some of us probably would care more if we actually hated the album.

If I hated the album I doubt I'd be checking in here 1/10 as much, if at all.

Anyway, I think if she pulled off something as epic as her VMAJ performace at the U.S. VMAs that would go a long way for her.

I really can't see this album pushing that many singles, unless they start doing double releases. I think "Judas" messed up what could have been longevity between singles. They moved on from that song with the quickness.

Like I said, they should treat the week leading up to the VMAs as essentially a re-launch with a new single.

As I said before, and I'm pretty sure they will treat it like that.

Whats important is Gaga putting her image out like she is now. She is letting the public know(worldwide) she has a product out. Shes sending out some decent music(I guess) the world has yet to pick up on. But once she lets it sit with them, release a new track and hope the public will catch on. I mean they still have lots of cards to be dealt at this point. They are in a good position at the moment, its how they will execute the coming months.

I mean ofcourse she could be doing allot better, but she is not in a critical position. Her launch and initial impact is still pretty strong and will hold off for abit. IMO ofcourse
Maybe I'm too optimistic

After reading your post, I imagined Gaga super-hyping about her 4th single and keep it secret until the launching at VMA where she will perform her 4th official single for the first time. On the red carpet, she appears in the most iconic and most controversial dress since the meat dress. The rating of VMA breaks the record. Gaga wins a few categories. And at the end of the show, the premier of the 4th single off BTW begins....

She sings the first line

"We can be strong / We can be strong / Out on this lonely run / On the road to love ..."

I know a few will flop, but I can see 9-10 singles.

You're right. But let's forget about "Judas" like the rest of the world did.

1. Born This Way (Spring)
2. The Edge of Glory (Summer)
3. **** (Fall)
4. You and I (Winter)
5. Marry The Night (Spring)
6. Americano WW / Hair US (Summer)
7. Bloody Mary (Fall)
8. Electric Chapel (Winter)
9. Bad Kids

Rerelease: Reborn This Way

I can't see the album having 9-10 singles, and I can't see **** doing well as a single either. I honestly think Marry The Night would be a good choice as her next single, or perhaps Americano (that's Summery I guess?) but most people don't like Americano, it seems.

Don't be ridiculous, if there's one thing hotter than Pitbull on the radio it's gibberish.

SHE DEBUTED WITH OVER A MILLION. IT'S FINE. REALLY. I PROMISE. Most artists don't even have enough stans to get them to a million. The ~general public~ is fine with her.
