I really don't think the label is having that much input in her music. What is wrong with pop music? This is the music she wants to make and that's it.

The Truth About Love - after being moved to a new label with a new label head, she wasn't allowed to mess up being on their roster. She may not be new, but she was new to the RCA team. Another album to guarantee hits and success please.

I think she also realized, the more successful you are, the bigger your tours are. She LOVES to tour and to perform. It's where her passion is mostly. She will probably give us one more album like this (but I think it will be different sonically. Just still commercial) before we get the off the wall stuff. Album 8 onwards is what I've been saying for a while now.

I'm not saying she doesn't love it. I'm saying she's told to be "commercial" but she IS doing it HER way. She didn't want to record UUH, but she still likes the song.
