Geronimo is Top 50 again before the adds date. Why do they keep pushing it back? It's clearly going to smash.

Nick peak of #2 on Pop is fitting, anyways.
It's like an empty hit (you hear on the radio, but nobody in real life cares, like Not a Bad Thing).
+ It's sales are basic, and it going #1 between mega-huge smashes like 'Blank Space' and 'Uptown Funk' would just be awkward. & it was a kii watching him go pro-gay for the sole purpose of sales for a few weeks.

1.5M sold (counting this week), still top 15 on iTunes, it's been #2 on Pop for three weeks. How is that "basic"? it'll probably be certified 2x Plat in just sales. A lot of HUGE smashes struggled to crack the 3M mark
And what does the support to the gay community has to do with this? He has a TV show where he plays a gay character, he wanted support for that, plus he's been a supporter since his broadway days.

**** you Billboard.
And the haters can keep hating. They played Jealous at the club last Saturday and everyone went crazy. When will your faves?

Completely agreed. Plus it sucks so hearing it all the time is annoying.

I agree with this. It should have peaked a long time ago but radio keeps pushing it and it's gotten so old at this point tbh

I mean, it's just there. That's basic to me.You have the monster smashes lately Blank Space, Uptown Funk, All About That Bass, Animals, Shake It Off, etc. Jealous just fades in comparison to recent Pop hits to me. That's why a #1 title next to it seems awkward. As I said, I don't really notice the song having any type of 'well-talked about' feel in real life, I mean he had the Calvin shoot but that's not related to the single.
But Pop Radio is **** now, and most of the recent hits have been ****. Whether it goes #1 or not won't change that. & going #1 on Pop Radio doesn't even feel like any type of accomplishment.
Seeing you stan for someone who doesn't have a vagina on ATRL, I won't knock your hustle to defend him though. The struggle can be real.

Well, it wasn't a smash like Blank Space or Uptown Funk so if you're going by that then I agree he didn't deserve the #1. Those were smashes but Jealous was much bigger than a lot of "pop hits" so it's not really just there like you said. He was #2 for three weeks so it wouldn't have been weird for it to go #1, IMO.
It's funny how no one expected him to get a hit and now that he got it, they say they expected "more". When he went #1 on Mediabase, there was nothing but praise here and now the haters came out
I stan for pop girls too that's why I'm mostly here and there are a lot of Nick stans here so it's not a struggle really.

Just because Jealous didn't go #1 under Billboard's rules doesn't mean it didn't go #1.
It was #1 yesterday. It was #1 today.
Jealous hit #1 on pop radio.

So now a song doesn't deserve to be #1 because there are other songs that feel bigger
I literally can't with y'all
Here Jealous feels bigger than Blank Space, my local Pop station hardly played it (they were still playing Shake It Off) and now they've already moved on to Style.
This isn't a "feel" chart but a number's chart. Mediabase official press release this morning had Jealous at #1, so it should be #1.

The reason it doesn't feel that way compared to the other songs is because Nick isn't really established as a solo artist... It didn't matter for Meghan because her song had a very popular video, and the lyrical content in All About That Bass was more interesting and caused controversy.
Anyways, Jealous is a really average song. I'm not too big on it.
