AMAZING for Karmin to be #14 right up there with the much over-hyped WHYB and Scream. I'd love to see the meltdown on the board when Karmin jumps over RiRi and Usher!
Chasing The Sun EP is already #1 on the UK albums chart.
Unfortunately, this means Chasing The Sun will barely debut in the top 10 on the singles chart. Not quite sure what their management team is thinking there. The EP (album) sales stole tons of potential singles sales, so it'll "look bad" when it debuts around #10 in the UK next week. Maybe CTS could debut at #1 on albums chart to "save face"?
It's okay, as the Official Charts Company will combine the EP sales that show up in the album chart to the individual download sales. They treat it like a "remix".

Faded is BRILLIANT!! A really amazing song, but I don't think it'll go top 10. It's been months since a hip hop song got in the top 10. But Faded really should be a massive top 3 hit at least imo.

If I buy the EP, does it count as 2 sales or just 1?

That's what that artist did who released his song around last christmas time. I can't think of his name, maybe Alex something? He's a big youtube star and released his debut single independantly and got his fans/followers/subscribers to support him by buying each song/remix of the song individually. It resulted in him having about 5 versions of the song in the top 50, combined he was #3 or something. Good strategy by him (he had/has no label so it was him who decided to do it) but imo it's chart manipulation.
It has no radio airplay at all but the music channels are hammering the video.
