These Sunday streaming numbers keep getting smaller. That means fans are still determining what the next On-Demand smash will be. TQ is down about 1/3 from its peak, with SYA down well over 1/2.

According to this HDD article, Taylor Swift's 1989 will now be available for On-Demand Streaming on Apple's Music Streaming Service. Swift won the war with Apple with her letter demeaning them with the embarrassing fact they did not want to pay their artist during the three month trial period.
So now, Taylor will be a major player in On-Demand Streaming too, but just PAID On-Demand Streaming. Unlike Tidal, Apple will likely threaten Spotify's stronghold on the On-Demand Streaming market. Ek may wish he had negotiated something out with Swift now: http://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=296540

And hopefully Apple will give us better charts than Spotify too. One thing is always true when a company gets a strong competitor -- the original "kid on the block" will start going out of its way to please its customers, which may mean we finally get decent charts from Spotify again too!

When Apple Music comes out, I'm going to need someone else to do the updates for its charts.
Vacation Announcement - PLEASE READ! Important to Updates
I'm leaving for England on Sunday, and will probably be unable to do Spotify updates between June 29 and July 13. Between those dates, it is unlikely that I will update the Spotify Charts Archive as well.
In case no one is able to post the update, I will screenshot the top 50 every night; when I come back home I will add any missed updates to the archive.
If there's one instance when I'm rooting for Spotify to not update its charts, this is it.
