I think it has more to do with the fact that Diddy is the boss of his own music whereas Cassie is not. She said it herself in that interview a couple years back when KOH was released. It had a lot to do with the label. Diddy is in control of Bad Boy. And Interscope will just distribute when the product is finished. Diddy has control of Cassie's music. Not even Ryan Leslie has any of the music he did with her anymore, all the files were sent to Bad Boy.
& not her ignoring any type of music update so far
