The only bad, practically unlistenable song on ARTPOP is Mary Jane Holland, aside from that transcendent middle 8 and Gaga's boisterous Mercury like delivery, it's an aural assault and complete mess. To be fair, I imagine it will work better in a live setting which is probably part of the reason it made the track list.
Fashion! is marked down because having two songs in a row on the standard tracklist being fashion centric is thematically weak for a Gaga album in 2013/14, especially when she's delivering songs like Aura, Venus, Swine, Gypsy etc. it just seems lazy.

The production is insane, with that K-Pop bubbliness mixed with the dirty desire of the lyrics and that harsh drop is just magical, and is one of the best examples of when left-field Gaga gets it completely right; truly ARTPOP
I'm watching her previous performances, BTW at the Grammys, DITD at the Brits, LoveGame at the MMA, MTN at the EMAs..
My question is.. WHAT THE **** HAPPENED TO HER!!!!!!!!!!!?? Should we start blaming the hip like Britney fans blame the knee?
Where the **** did all that energy and conviction went?
It's just exhausting being a fan of hers since Judas tbh..
Now that's just a bit much, she's delivered plenty of killer performances this era, and she's literally just added one to the list a couple of days ago. Sometimes I wonder exactly what people want from her.
