I think the format will do good things for the show. It'll allow them to address lots of loose ends and hopefully not drag on the story too long. For the first time in a very long time, the focus isn't to "stop" someone. Sure, Jekyll is bad, but I think he has done enough damage as possible. The Evil Queen is off somewhere else and will probably continue to hide, but she won't need dire stopping. The Hades storyline dragged on too long because it was all about "stopping" him even though that took, like, ten episodes. I hope that this will allow the show to breathe and bring back lots of things the show has been lacking, like where everyone is living now, etc. I want to see Regina cook dinner sometime.
The 100th episode was amazing. I just re-watched it again, and the writers were so right to give the 100th episode to Lana. She is such an outstanding actress. Regina is such a complex and likable character, too. And the Evil Queen is still one-of-a-kind. It's amazing how both sides of Regina are so complex, and I'm so glad we'll see both sides next season. That makes me really happy because I adore her.
