I'm not surprised Candyman flopped. I liked it a lot but it wasn't catchy or mainstream enough to break the higher echelon of the charts. I'm proud of Christina...her music is much more innovative than Nelly Furtado's, Gwen's, and Britney's--but not many of the songs really seem all that radio-friendly. I've heard Slow Down Baby may be her next single, but if she wants "Back to Basics" to race back up the charts she would have to release "Still Dirrty"...I prefer the former though.

Umbrella isn't as catchy or dancy as SOS but it'll be a big hit. SOS started REALLY strong and managed to make it really high on the chart just due to airplay...when she released the album, SOS shot to number 1 because the single was finally available to purchase. I don't know if Umbrella has #1 potential.

"U + Ur Hand" is millions times better than Avril's "Girlfriend" (which isnt a bad song) so I think it deserves to chart at least as high as "Girlfriend". It's a really awesome song....if P!nk released it as the 1st single off of "I'm Not Dead", the album would have had more sales success but i think "Stupid Girls" makes more of a statement and thats what P!nk was going for. The song is her true comeback, I wish it could go number1!! She's planning to re-release "Who Knew" in June which I think is a very bad idea. She would have much more success releasing "Long Way To Happy" or "Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely)".

no, Summer Love is not going to go to #1 like the other 3 singles because so many people already own "Future Sex/Love Sounds" and people aren't going to buy/download the single since they already own the album. These days, download single sales are responsible for nearly 70% of a singles success on the charts so if the song isn't a big-seller on iTunes it wont go high on the Billboard Hot 100. It will be a huge summer hit at radio though for sure.

A lot of iTunes users don't bother to buy entire albums, because iTunes makes it possible to buy individual songs. Summer Love can, and most likely will, go to #1, because it's a strong single (which is rare for a 4th single).
