The Velvet Rope is technically her best from an objective standpoint. Most eclectic, 'diverse' array of sounds, very introspective and thoughtful lyrically.

I'm gonna bookmark this and give these a listen tomorrow I guess. I do actually like or even love all the songs I posted, I just don't get the disconnect I feel when it comes to her.

What's wrong with having no emotional attachment when it comes to sex tho? Being that way most of the time, I can still say the sex is still enjoyable.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. I wish every single person would think of it that way but when you have people coming at you like you're in the wrong because they caught feelings, it gets annoying and have you 2nd guessing yourself. That's what it did for me, at least.

Looking back, I never told anyone that I was officially their dude so I don't know why I even cared.
