I honestly suspect the song originally had completely different production from the version we know. Paul McCartney is credited for playing the guitar, the only other production element is the organ, which one person would have played. I find it hard to believe the song needed all those other people to come up with its melodies.
I think the original version was worked on by all those people, and probably had production similar to Wolves and/or All Day, and when Rihanna got it, she had it stripped of all of that, down to the bare essentials.
And it's coming for top 5 next week
