You know what. I'm kind of glad album sales as a given are dead. This makes it that much easier to separate the top artists from the flops. Album sales have become an achievement. Only the best can get them.

Just this past year Drake, Coldplay, Bieber, and Adele did pretty good numbers. Album sales are only dead for low quality artists (like Rihanna) and indie artists who don't really look for it anyway.

It's kinda crazy how you can separate the talented artists from the non-talented with album sales nowadays

Album sales seem to be staying steady or even going up for quality artists from where I'm standing.

Adele is an anomoly but biebs scored 4M+ with ease and will easily do 5mil maybe six and thats in 2015-2016

Well yea. No one is selling over 10 million consistently like Adele, but album sales, for quality artists are by no means "dead". The Navy would have you believe otherwise.
