I think part of the issue is how much of the media is, like, not officially state-controlled but basically puts the state's best interests first
True, but SM aren't part of the media per se and they postponed their biggest comeback of the year (sorry SNSD)
I find it sort of odd that there would be backlash if musicians released music because of this tragedy. I don't get the connection, yano? I guess it's a difference in culture because it doesn't logically make sense, to me at least.

Hmm, well get prepared for the carnage to happen next month with all the pushed back comebacks happening at once...poor JYP...15& is going to get massacred again (more weeks no no#1 for JYP) and maybe this will YG time to get his crap together...I mean nobody is doing anything they all can be working to get WINNER'svideo done and PSY stuff done. However i have a feeling Overdose as a single won't do well, with the video already leaked and probably already downloaded. But it will give SM time to fix their YG teas
Seems like May 1 probably the targeted date for kpop's return. New month. It falls on a Thursday, which is traditionally the beginning of kpop's week (Monday releases to game Gaon notwithstanding). Until then, kpop should probably put together some benefit concerts or telethons or whatever to demonstrate they care, too... in between their China and Japan promos.
And that should give kpop a good 4 week run until their previously scheduled shutdown for the World Cup... unless another disaster happens during the group stages.
