that's what u get when u want to do 21421221321x shows at once ... I bet now that Scream Queens will slay it's first season because Ryan was hyped for it and they pretty much shot the whole middle season already and know where it will all end up etc.etc.

where in Hotel they haven't even shot the the first 2 episodes yet and with Freak show they shot the first 2 episodes that where 90min each and then continued shooting after the season premiere ///// and Freak Show was good up until ep 5/6

Ryan u better don't fck this up cuz if it suck Gaga will be blamed for it and I'm not ready for another year of dragging 2011/2013 where enough

That's how their filming schedule has always been though.



In fact Hotel is the earliest they've ever started filming, apart from the pilot for Murder House. Usually they don't start until the end of July and they film through December.

It's the same old thing every season. They'll make it up as they go along and finish filming during the Christmas break holidays. That's why EVERY season ends up with a fail. You'd think by now they would have learned to film the ENTIRE thing before airing it on TV for the masses to judge, but nope.

Prepare for yet another season of mediocre beginnings, 3 strong episodes in a row in the middle, and then a lame/WTF-esque finale.

You all can say what you want, and I do realize the writing has flaws at times, but I dont think they make it up as they go along. To have 7-8 scripts complete by the time they begin filming is pretty damn good, which is what they usually have by then. And by the time they film the 3rd or 4th episode I'm sure the complete series is written, or at least conceptualized on paper somehow.

I think the problem is the huge cast and them trying to fit too many storylines into so many episodes, at least thats where Asylum and Coven seemed to be a bit weak tbh. Freak Show had everything tied up nicely, it just kind of slowed down half way through.

They just need to learn how to pace themselves better, not too much, but not too little to make an episode or two a chore to get through.

Freak Show didn't have everything done well. It was LAZY, RUSHED and SQUANDERED all its own potential in the last 3 episodes. All the key moments in the last 3 episodes were anticlimactic and stupid.

I liked how Freak Show ended, though. It was much more tied together and emotionally fulfilling than the endings of Murder House and Coven (though Freak Show admittedly didn't have that many plot lines to begin with, which was its ultimate flaw). Asylum obviously has the best ending, and remains the only season that's consistent in quality from start to finish ().

On a separate note, I agree with the statement that Freak Show was just as camp as Coven. The mood was much more dour in Freak Show, but the musical numbers and certain segments really evoked a camp, 1930s film vibe. I think one of my favorite moments of Freak Show is the scene where Stanley finally gets his comeuppance. The entire scene is an homage to Freaks, and shows what I mean.

Asylum's the best season, and almost by default for the only one to be perfectly well-rounded and remain consistent. Coven would be the best of not for the last 2 episodes.

She would never go there. It would be interesting to see her pull a Madison and walk in without warning though. However, she can't because of the tour.

Also, if nothing else, Elsa Mars' story was compelling and interesting to watch. Her personality and motivations were complex and the show did a good job of exploring her from different views and perspectives. Not to mention Jessica's acting, which was amazing and did justice to the role.

Many aspects of the season were weak and poorly written, but Elsa wasn't. She is definitely a top ten character in the series.
