The fact that Avatar beat films like Titanic, GWTW, Star Wars is kinda mind boggleing. The hype for 3D was REAL... and then people realized that anyone could do it and it could be done even better with Life of Pi, Gravity. Ugh. Gravity was sooo good. Need to give it a rewatch.

People were mostly interested in Avatar because of 3D.

It has no memorable characters, no quotable lines, not an 'iconic' scene and the plot is simply unoriginal.

Tbh the sequel will probably underperform.


As for Divergent I'm waiting for BR rip. The books are good though

Yup! And deservedly so! Empire Slays Back is still my favorite though - it doesn't deserve to be the lowest grossing Star Wars movie.
