I think it came from her and Kelly's performance at the Essence festival. Matthew Knowles, had copies of all his artists CDs at the concert.

They predicted Kelly over 100k, they're usually right on target. Maybe she'll increase? I don't know, they hardly mess up.

TOMORROW’S CHART TODAY: Grand Hustle/Atlantic Dirty South rapper T.I. will top tomorrow’s HITS Album Sales chart with between 460-470k for his T.I. vs. T.I.P. release. Disney’s Hannah Montana 2 soundtrack will be in second with between 180-190k, followed by RCA’s Kelly Clarkson at #3, scoring 110-115k. RCA’s Velvet Revolver will be the week’s other top debut at #4 with around 95-100k, while Island’s Bon Jovi rounds out the Top 5 at about the same amount, give or take. Columbia’s Kelly Rowland bows at #6 with 80-85k, trailed by SBMG Nashville’s Brad Paisley (#7, 65-70k), while WB’s Linkin Park (#8) vies with Universal Republic’s Amy Winehouse (#9) and WB’s White Stripes (#10), all three in the 55-60k range. (7/9p)

i don't know why you are all so surprised that Ms. Kelly is going to flop. Ok, first of all, Simply Deep just barely made it to Gold status and it only debuted with 77k in it's first week. If Ms. Kelly debuts with 50k i think that's pretty great considered the state of the music industry today and the lukewarm response that Like This has received. I like Kelly Rowland a lot, but really, her new album is sort of lackluster. It might sell alright but not great. I won't consider it a flop if it sells 250k total but most other people will, but again, it's all relative. If Ms. Kelly was released 5 years ago it would've sold just as much as Simply Deep if not better.
