Confessions has cohesion but that doesn't mean it's better. I like her having cohesion, but COADF has so much filler... Jump, Let it Will Be, Forbidden Love, Push, etc.
I mean it's a great pop album, but not by Madonna's standards.

If Into the Groove was on the original print of ROL, it be an amazing album because that one track brings life to me when I hear it.

I count it as part of Like a Virgin.
But Material Girl, Angel, Like a Virgin, Love Don't Live Here Anymore, Into the Groove and Dress You Up are all singles and great pop songs.... Over and Over is a good track too. The last 3 drastically drop in quality but they're far from bad.

Yes! I also love American Life.
There are moments where it sounds like RoL & Music had a baby.
Another album folks seem to dislike.
I know I'm alone but Nothing Fails >>>>>>

I wouldn't say filler-less but it is her most enjoyable!
I looooove that album! Some of my favorite M-Dolla songs.

I don't count it, but I still don't use LAV, it's too light, but the tracks are good.
It's hard to explain, I just can't listen to the entire album, but I can listen to the individual songs.

Push? Maybe, but it's good.
Forbidden Love? No.
Let It Will Be? Hell no.
JUMP?
Best song on the album and one of Madonna's best ever.

Yes, confessions is more of an album than Like a Virgin.... I'd say Madonna only has 2 incoherent albums, she's usually extremely coherent. Music is very incoherent but still is one of her best...
Like a Virgin is just good 80s Pop, but I have lot of problems with Confessions so I put them on an equal platform.

Don't come for the good sis Music, it's coherent in my opinion.

No all those songs are filler and just decent.
Idk, I do like Confessions and I like that it's a mood Dance album where it focuses on groove instead of hooks and individual songs, but it's not her masterpiece.

It has progressive house then, goes to folk then to trip hop then country pop then synthpop, it's so random. I mean, I do think it works but albums like American Life and Bedtime Stories change in style but they don't really do it drastically or randomly.

It all blends in though, they all have similar genre influences between each other.

Jump is filler?
That's actually the only song on that album I like.
I could just never get into Confessions.
What are your favorite Madonna songs?
I can't choose between Paradise [Not for Me] & Deeper and Deeper.
EDIT: Or Bye Bye Baby.
