After watching Joshua squirm while next to Philip onstage, I definitely sensed a level of discomfort that only someone who's closeted tends to display when next to a really cute guy (trust me, I've been there)....

I think Joshua actually uttered something along the lines of "we were fighting over his girlfriend" as to the cause of him shoving Phillip away. I mean, he's clearly being urged by the Idol producers to act straight. It doesn't work out well with a guy that's seemingly not comfortable with his sexuality in the first place.
