I like the cover because it's simple and doesn't try that hard to be edgy and outlandish. The wig + bleached eyebrows give it just the right amount of edge, and the pastel Spring-like color coordination is perfect. She looks like a star.

Exactly, there are models who are styled and dressed in the same similar way but are not "fashion icons". Why? Because they are styled by people who are. The same goes for Gaga.

I'm not trying to pull some card here or be like a know it all, but I work in fashion. The only people who think she is a fashion icon are her fans, not the people who are actually in it.
