That is what happens with artists that depend on singles: if the producers stop giving them to you, you're in trouble. I love Rih too but she could not afford that big break and to come back with singles when the album wasn't even done. It's like she is a struggling artist that can't release her album.
Beyoncé and Gaga were smarter than her in this department, they still can sell albums without hit singles
