That wasn't my point.
The GP isn't here for Katy's slower, more ballad-type tracks. Even the two slowest tracks of the TD era were the only two which didn't reach #1. They may be some of her best, for sure. But as long as she wants to keep getting #1's then that's not the direction she needs to be going. Don't tell me she doesn't care about success, otherwise she wouldn't have changed her One Of The Boys sound to the TD sound after Kesha's TiK ToK blew up. She wouldn't continue to work with Dr. Luke and Bonnie McKee and release all of their collabs as singles.
Katy is a pop artist and the GP love her upbeat pop songs. As long as she keeps releasing them the GP will be happy. If she feels as if she's in a position where she doesn't need to rely on pleasing the GP anymore, then so be it, I'm all for her releasing slower songs as singles. But she can't and won't have both.

Believe me when I say that I would do everything I can to have another POP record from Katy. Sadly its Katy who wants to transition to the acoustic realm and I think that ballad type songs like "It Takes Two" are going to help Katy.
That is overexposure for Katy. Like every song that comes out is upbeat can actually hurt her singles. Variation is important too. And we all want her to progress as an artist as well so if it means we have to say "See You Later" to her bops I'm willing to take the risk.

That's personal opinion. IS was actually a grower for me... I didn't like it that much at first, but it's really become a favourite on the album for me.
I'm fine for Katy transitioning to that sound, some of my favourite songs from her are slower tracks, The One That Got Away especially, but as far as the PRISM era goes, she needs to keep on releasing the upbeat pop tracks, not a slower bonus track that, imo, isn't that great anyway.
I honestly don't think Katy will suffer from overexposure. If releasing 8 singles from one album/reissue wasn't overexposure, than releasing a few more upbeat singles from PRISM won't hurt her either.
