I even like the song. After all tho, you all (well all ATRL) were expecting Applause to do better.

Hell no. Little Monsters are a big part of ATRL. Biggest fanbase by far.
I think overall they are a bigger stan base than Navy or KatyCats, but gp use more the last two than ha.

Yep, you have a point and I'm absolutely agree with you. But it's kinda the same history all over again, 'cause we know how hard were Little Monsters to drag the others when Gaga was in her best moment. Although, it's ATRL so it's gonna be the same always, probably.

Did most of us expected it to preform better?Hell yes.

But it all comes to the fact most of us expected a better song. Esp' with a title like ARTPOP.
I said that alot, the verses of that song just kill it. It's such a shame since it could have been an amazing song.

Which is why I think comparing Applause to WFL or Diamonds is useless.
For me, when I heard them both, esp' WFL I just knew I was listening to a smash.
Applause is medium and it's why I expect it to do a medium preformance [esp' compared to a lead single from Lady GaGa]. If it goes higher than I expected than I'll be happy for her, not much for the song.

That's my take on Applause.

That's so subjective. Rihanna got dragged not only by a lot of bases but even by the Navy for both WFL and Diamonds first week. I remember both clearly.
