One producer also said that Rih will have a string of no.1 singles and a multi-platinum album with Rated R. But that didn't happen. Hopefully this time around they are serious about what they say and try not to label it higher than it really is

Producers say a lot of things. This one didn't say Rihanna will have a #1 song or go multi-platinum, he simply said that it's going to be combination of the Rihannas we know.

Taio Cruz is one of the writers on the album. Do you expect him to really write a ballad? He probably wrote a club banger for her.

Maybe that producers work did not make the album because Rihanna herself said with Rated R they did not go for the instant radio hits like in the past before the album came out.
LA Reid even said they could have gone for a cute pop album with Rated R but, they decided to do something different.

What we know so far...
According to srprecords Rihanna's first single is already selected...and will be released very soon.SRP updated their twitter account telling rihanna fans to get ready to dance. The album is said to have something in it for everyone. Rihanna is trying to re-create the LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE magic so maybe a new eminem and rihanna track is possible? We'll have to wait and see. Shontelle is said to be writing for Rihanna. According to srp records no collaborations has been done yet...

I just don't understand the big rush. Just because Rated R sales are not up to par does not mean to start fresh with a new album. I found Rater R a great album. She just got off tour,a new movie and then new album. Thats a whole lot for a 22 year old who has been known to pass out.
