Beyonce (Top 10/20), and Xtina will def make it like on every VH1 list (Hottest Hotties, Teen Idols, 90's Popstars).
Though, Trolling Stone >>>>> VH1.
Beyonce will not be top 10 or the top 20 and Christina will not be on the list. I expect that Madonna will be the only female artist from the last 25 years in the top 20.
Satellites isn't a big fan of Michael, but c'mon, give the man props. I can't get into all of these legends, but I will give them their props (i.e Madonna).

Possibles?:
The Pixies (without them, no Nirvana)
R.E.M. (they are in the Hall of Fame, after all)
The Cure/The Smiths
Sonic Youth
The White Stripes
Pearl Jam (Dkw, but whatever)
Hole (because ... well, you know)
The Arcade Fire (if they're feeling hip)
Who else am I missing?
The Pixies!! Love them and they should totally be on this list, although I'm worried that Vh1 is going make this a lot more mainstream.
Is he really the golden buy of the US Music industry? you sure about that? when it comes to music I haven't heard JT mentioned anymore only usher, michael jackson, prince entertainers who have longetivity and keep doing what they love to do. Usher's music hasn't garnered critical acclaim and huge commercial success? Usher isn't loved by women of all ages? The only time it didn't when he was trying to be "more adult" when he put out Here I Stand believe me if JT would have put out the same type of album it wouldn't have mattered it would have flopped as well household names can't always sell you know especially if the music is terrible. Usher has 9 #1 singles and an album that has went diamond with several others that went platinum and how many does JT have? I'm not convinced because I have the facts to back this unless you got a different definition of what impact is
I've never once heard Usher mentioned with MJ. He isn't on the same level. And this is a list of the GREATEST Artists of All-Time, not the most successful R&B singers.
Not even, the very first note tells me it fits right in a cheesy '80s family sitcom. I mean, really, you don't hear it? You don't think Thriller sounds more current than that? At least give Quincy Jones his dues.

Usher is one of the GREATEST contemporary R&B artists of all time is he not? I wasn't just putting his success up to why he deserves to be there. Listen you idiots I put Usher and MJ and Prince in the same sentence because of his longeitivity and success within that longeitivity geez. Also how in the hell can you tell if some artist's music is "safe"? are you guys actually that stupid?
I hope Celine Dion makes it, yeah she doesn't write most of her stuff, but she is hands down the best female singer of today ( Yes, TODAY, she is the only one who can still hit all the notes in her back catalog), and puts on one hell of a show!!

Greatest contemporary R&B artists of all time? A bit of a contradiction eh?
He doesn't deserve to be on this list and I will be very surprised if he's on it.
