I honestly don't even care anymore, I always make threads for (somewhat) anticipated albums. And if not members, then guests are always interested
This honestly. No shade but when music threads from acts like Pia Mia or Charlie Puth gets more attention/traffic than a lot of great alternative releases it's like you realize where we are, so just make whatever you feel like tbh.
That reminds me, I remember when the Radiohead thread was made and near 400-500 guests were there at one time

True, but it's Radiohead. Radiohead is a bit different from other alt acts, they blew up when Alt was very much intertwined with pop culture. One of the reasons they can sell over 120k copies first week and other big 21st century alt acts can't even sell that much overall.

Yeah, I agree with basically everything you guys said.
But with Radiohead it was an extreme case. They didn't announce the title, nor had they given any other information and Amazon accidentally leaked everything Me and the good sis chilicheese were one of the first people outside of Reddit to report it and that's the main reason we had so many guests.

And by the way, The Bride is Bat's BEST ALBUM. Not even a competition. And is she one hell of a performer, my goodness. 'Widow's Peak' is just... This whole album really.
But barely anyone followed the dress code I wish more people did. It really would've made the whole show even better. Oh gosh, the emotion of her voice.
I just posted on the reddit I'm an hour out of the city so no one there is gonna wanna come out to me just to pick up the wristband up + it's been tough finding locals, I think we just gonna wait out the first day and see what happens
Light Upon A Lake was a pleasant surprise & debut from Whitney. It really has a retro & seasonal vibe going for it.
I kinda wish there was one or two more single-like songs, but it's a great debut anyway

You got me so excited for this But I think it will be hard to top Two Suns or even THM.
