I have nothing against any of them, I really love Madonna (Papa Don't Preach is my all time favorite) and Britney (representin' Louisiana!! Woot woot) and despite her total bitchiness, Christina has a great voice. Madonna and Britney's smooch was definitely iconic (and totally overshadowed Madonna and Christina's).

I know Cascada is a nominee, but she is so random. This must mean that they will be giving underrated acts some shine. Janelle Monae should be joining Cascada and Florence and the Machine. The girl puts on a great show.

It does seem that they are giving some lesser known/underrated acts a chance to perform. I was completely shocked when I heard Cascada was performing. I mean, why would MTV want them? They have never played any of Cascada's videos, like... ever. But I'm still pumped.
So it is now official... for the first time in 4 years, Cascada shal lbe performing in the US on television, this time on the VMAs.
So in addition to being nominated for "Evacuate the Dancefloor," now we will be treated to performance by Cascada as well. Which song will be performed? I have no idea yet, but I assume ETD since it's the one being nominated, or possibly "Pyromania" since it is their latest single released at the moment.
MTV is really being invintive with this line up...and i thought 30 Sec To Mars was random....The Kill

I hate award shows especially the MTV ones but I can't miss this, 2 of the best artists ATM performing, maybe the mainstream artists are pissed off by MTV and declined the invitations to perform and MTV had to go for the less known, and I love it
This will definitely be an awards show I don't want to miss, especially now, seeing as not only Cascada's nominated, but set to perform on TV for the first time since 2006. Plus, this is primetime, not daytime television like the first time so that people can miss it because of work/school or whatever.
I promise Cascada will put on an amazing show, especially for the VMAs. Their outfits and dancing are phenomenal. You will love it!
