all the visuals are symbolic of her relationship and mental state

she is the opposite of a damsel in distress in this MV. in fact it couldn't be clearer lol. the premise of the mv and song is how she finds herself and gathers strength by being on her own and out of that frantic relationship

I loved the visuals, it's my favorite song from the album but I feel like it was overproduced. I wish it was more simple.

The song is a fan favorite, and it's catchy and melodic. I'm glad she released it as a single. It's different from her usual pop songs which is a nice change in pace.

There are similarities in the tone of the video in many ways, with the scenes of Taylor on her own in the middle of an expanse of nature. Clearly its not a copy but there are similarities.

I see what you mean. Well she keeps using Joseph Kahn as the direct. All her videos are starting to look the same then in that regard, at least as far as production goes. At least it's not a Max Martin single this time.
