And that is majority white. Hi_im_new already pointed out the creator of Naruro designed him for mass consumption. That means white.

Of course people perceive them as white. White is seen as the default for everything. In fact, even on the Internet, people are perceived as white unless they indicate otherwise. It's strange that you seem kind of amused and proud of it considering you're non-white. Then again, you seem to do this a lot in threads about East Asians and Hispanics. It's as if you have an issue with them and take amusement out of undermining them.

We know. You have some strange grudge against East Asians (probably Asians in general). I remember some other thread where you were upset when some member pointed out the lack of Asians in mainstream media and saying that they should "go back home" or something.

!!! I'm so sick of this happening to every anime adaptation. Avatar, Ghost In the Shell, Dragonball Z, now Death Note. If the anime is actually based in a European setting, like Attack on Titan, THEN I can maybe understand white-washing the cast, but this is getting ridiculous. It's almost 2016.

Yeah because they're the most racist and color struck people on the planet. Farrrr more racist, RUDE and segregated than white people.

I think you need a reality check. Historically (and even today) whites are most likely to be violent or aggressive towards other people. Some old East Asian women giving you stink face while going home is not the same as violent aggression. As for being color struck, I think that's pretty universal among non-whites.

I don't need a reality nothing. That's my experience with east asians and plenty of other people I know have the same opinion. They're rude and standoffish. Most of them don't even have manners as far as simple courtesies like hi and bye. If you see a bunch of them congregated somewhere and try to get by, they wont even excuse themselves. I don't know many white people that do stuff like that, but I know a whole lot of asians. And I think it's more of a cultural thing because they're just as rude to white people.
I honestly feel like if asians were the dominant race here in america, racism against black and brown people would probably be just as much as it is now, if not worse tbh.

So essentially you're upset with East Asians because what are probably working class, recent Chinese and Korean immigrants don't say "hi" or "bye" to you and don't move out of the way when they're standing together on a sidewalk and people are passing by? What a petty reason. They're probably low class, uneducated so you can't expect much. And that's not racism. It's just trashy and lacking manners.
For the record, I know what you're talking about, but I've experienced the same things from a lot of different people. In fact, people here use those same lines you used, but for black and Hasidic Jewish people. It's not really a good excuse to hold a grudge and more importantly, it's not healthy.
Also, East Asians will never be the dominant race in the US and I doubt racism would be any different in the US (or anywhere) no matter who the dominant race is.

They're not working class, they attend one of the top schools in the country. They're just rude in general. Most people don't have a favorable opinions of Asians in general, sorry to tell you that. That's why a lot of racism against them goes undetected or is glossed over. This has been discussed on various forums like Youtube and such. Maybe you should watch it.

I can't imagine East Asians at Harvard congregating on a sidewalk blocking people. It sounds like a scene from Chinatown or Korea Town. I went to a "top school in the country" and all the East Asian students were whitewashed or just nerdy, not lacking manners.
As for people not having favorable opinions about Asians, that's not surprising. People don't have favorable opinions for any minority, but you can get away with trashing Asians because there's no one actively protesting and Asians are a tiny minority in the west. That's the actual reason why racism towards Asians is ignored, not because people think East Asians are rude.

Why do all anime, give their characters western features blondes, brunettes red hair, its working against them
Whitewashing is bad
But dragonball revolution(full of Asian actors) **** storm
So. Guess no anime movies and no place for Asian actors at all

This is an absolute shame but I'm glad this made news because some people are completely unaware of the whitewashing of global media.

There was a **** storm cause the movie was garbage and the lead was white while the asian actors were reduced to the background/supporting cast.
