They are still hits and she has plenty of urban-leaning hits. She's a rapper who raps over a variety of different beats and she does it well. Get over yourself.
My fave from 1989 I knew it would be a big hit. Actually should've been the third single. Style was not a bad choice tho, it seemed more logic at the time.
