Now Presenting... The set that spent exactly three months in my c/d
justice's Best 20 Singles for 2009:
**May not be the best for some but for me they are
| 10. | | Black Eyed Peas
"Boom Boom Pow"
Days in countdown | Peak : 60 days | 01 (7x)
Weeks in countdown | Peak : 13 weeks | 01 (1x)
Achievement in countdown : Song of the Month for June
Opening the Top Ten of my list is Black Eyed Peas' first single of their latest album. This lead single is my FAVORITE track from their album as the futuristic beat is fun to sing and dance along to. We can hear all the group's voices here and all of them suited the song VERY WELL. This song, when played with HQ Speakers and Sounds, can ROCK an entire building because of its SICK beat!! As a dance / electro pop music lover, this song really hits the spot for me. It has its ups and downs in my countdown but it eventually ended up as one of my most favorite songs of 2009. All hail BEP

| 09. | | Beyonce
"Halo"
Days in countdown | Peak : 60 days | 01 (4x)
Weeks in countdown | Peak : 14 weeks | 01 (1x)
Achievement in countdown : Song of the Month for February
This is my favorite single from I Am... side, well actually from the whole I Am... Sasha Fierce album. What I loved about this song is that, it's a song full of positivity in it. Instead of seeing the flaws and mistakes of someone, this song tries to value the person to you. I'm sure we all have persons that have this "halo" in their head Some say this sounded like Already Gone but for me, this song is WAAAAAYYYYYY better than it as Beyonce delivers and gives justice to the song. In the music video, I love all the settings as the white color shades suits the song perfectly. It's been awhile since I liked a song from Beyonce. Hopefully she makes more AMAZING singles like these

| 08. | | Britney Spears
"If U Seek Amy"
Days in countdown | Peak : 60 days | 01 (13x)
Weeks in countdown | Peak : 13 weeks | 01 (5x)
Achievement in countdown : Song of the Month for April
Wohoho!! Another double meaning song coming from the legendary Ms Britney Spears!! What I loved about the song is that, reading the lyrics aloud will not disclose the dirty words for the reader but for the listener... well... let's just say don't sing this in front of your parents lmao haha!! I'm glad this song was released as an official single as it deviates a little from Circus and Womanizer. The music video tries to portray a very conservative normal mom that has a very "pre-occupied" mind deep inside Hopefully she pulls it off all again in 2010

| 07. | | Cobra Starship f/ Leighton Meester
"Good Girls Go Bad"
Days in countdown | Peak : 60 days | 01 (6x)
Weeks in countdown | Peak : 13 weeks | 03
Achievement in countdown : Retired with 60 days in my countdown
Despite this song didn't reach the top spot (not even #2) of my weekly countdown, this song skyrockets to #07 of my year end list. This song definitely has longevity in it and i bet if competition was not tight during its release, it could've performed better in my c/d. This single features Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester and her voice suits the song very well. The title of the song may sound like an album title for another artist, but the two has completely different meanings. The video is simple yet, entertaining; I also love the lightings in the video. I wish I could make Good Girls Go Bad too
