 | | Jesse McCartney feat. Ludacris
"How Do You Sleep (Remix)"
Album: Departure Recharged
Just when I thought this guy was done, this remix single magically appeared and got me singing along with the chorus like crazy, I think this is the first song from him I actually like since Just So You Know, IDK if he'll release something new but I dont care either, I just like this song. |
| | | Paramore
"Ignorance"
Album: Brand New Eyes
One of the bands I was expecting the most from this year. When this single came out I felt a lot disappointed about it, actually I still think it's their worst single so far, but well it isnt that bad and its definitely a grower, so despite the terrible music video, here it is on my top 50! |
| | | Muse
"Uprising"
Album: The Resistance
Muse is definitely one of the best alternative bands out there, this year they brokethrough in America and with a great album under their arm. This track is amazing and its music video is very creative. I hope the lyrics inspire these guys to keep making hits like this. |
| | | Snow Patrol
"Crack The Shutters"
Album: A Hundred Million Suns
After a long time since this band won my heart, they did it again with this song, you guys know how much I love ballads and this one just had to be here, I love the chorus and the inspiration you gte when you listen to it. I hope they come back soon with a single like this. |
| | | Shinedown
"Second Chance"
Album: The Sound Of Madness
Do you guys remember this song? You probably not, or you probably do cause it charted high in the BB HOT 100, but as usual everyone in ATRL disses everything that charts high and its not their fave . Well this ballad is one of the most beautiful songs I listened this year, so it deserves what it got and even more in my opinion. |
| | | Colbie Caillat
"Fallin' For You"
Album: Breakthrough
To be honest I never liked Colbie before. When this song came out, I never expected anything from it, and maybe that's why I liked it that much, this song is like those kinds of songs that are sooo simple but so sweet and peaceful you just feel like in love with them. Good job Colbie! |
| | | Black Eyed Peas
"I Gotta Feelin' "
Album: The E.N.D.
Again I expect a lot of WTFs about these guys, well this song is kinda catchy and its beat is impossible to avoid, but I got tired of it way too soon and I'm sick of them being so damn overated, so number 45 is all they get from me |
| | | Ciara feat. Missy Elliott
"Work"
Album: Fantasy Ride
This song despite being a little dumb is so damn addictive, I just love Ciara's style in this video, and the way she moves could easily get the best choreography award from me this year. |
| | | Beyoncé
"Sweet Dreams"
Album: I Am...Sasha Fierce
I was waiting for this song to finally be released as a single and the day finally came. In my opinion this is one of the best Sasha Fierce songs and one of the few I actually liked from the upbeat side of her album, the music video is kinda cool compared to the previous ones |
| | | Lady Gaga
"LoveGame"
Album: The Fame
Well what can I say? I think my history as a fan of Lady Gaga ended with this song, in my half-year cd it was top 5 based mostly in the amount of plays it had in my pc, but now... well I just cant stand either her or this song anymore. So you people that are still fans of her, enjoy it cause you might not see it again in any countdown made by me. |
| | | P!nk
"Sober"
Album: Funhouse
Now after all these overated acts here comes the true artist, this song despite being so underated is great imo, so honest, so deep, so... P!nk! I just love the way she leaves her footprints all over everthing she does, and this beautiful ballad was no exception. |
First of all I wanna apologize to everyone cause I havent updated since a long time ago and I havent commented in your countdowns either, my christmas time was a huge mess and I'm going through a lot of personal problems including my computer being broken and useless again, to all the people that support this countdown, I'm really sorry, I'll try to update to the end but I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to post it all in time.
